BFTLDN X Black Girl 20k Steps Walk

Time to get take our 20k steps challenge!

Join us for a 20K Steps Challenge around Richmond Park’s Tamsin Trail, a beautiful, route circling London’s largest royal park. We’ll walk at a steady, social pace, aiming to hit 20,000 steps by completing the full loop (approx. 7.3 miles / 11.7 km)

• Route: Tamsin Trail full loop + short add-ons to reach 20k steps
• Pace: Social, brisk walk (not a jog)
• Duration: 3.5–4.5 hours including brief breaks
• Terrain: Well-made paths with gentle hills; can be muddy after rain

This is a purposeful walk with light hills. If you’re recovering from injury or find uneven paths challenging, this event may not be suitable. We set off on time and cannot delay the group.

We walk in light rain; severe weather may postpone. If plans change, we’ll email attendees at least 2 hours before meet time.

• Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
• A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
• Snacks if you’d like to enjoy a bite at the finish. We will also stop for a toilet and coffee break!
