A Masquerade Black-Tie Affair
Join The Honorable Keisha T. Smith, on behalf of the Fort Bend County Juvenile Detention Center Leadership Academy, for an inspiring evening celebrating the creativity, talent, and potential of our youth.
Hosted by J-Mac with 97.9 The Box, the 2nd Annual Gala & Art Show will showcase remarkable original artwork created by youth currently assigned to Juvenile Probation. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the artwork, enjoy an elegant evening with food and fellowship, and participate in a silent auction featuring the youth's original pieces.
The featured artwork is the result of a four-week Art Curriculum led by Art by Nato (Douglas James, Jr.) in collaboration with leaders of the Juvenile Detention Center Department. Through this hands-on program, young individuals are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and creative opportunities needed to explore their passions, develop their talents, and express themselves through art.
This event represents the second annual art show program, continuing a commitment to inspiring and empowering young people through creativity and opportunity.
Every young life deserves a chance to learn, heal, and step into a brighter tomorrow.
Proceeds from the silent auction will support the Juvenile Detention Center Leadership Academy Art Program, helping provide continued opportunities for youth to engage in art and develop their creative talents.
