Beyond the Fade: Phase 2 Launch Event : Documentary Cinema Screening + Q&A
Join Melanin Moods CIC and Cappella Chaplaincy for an exclusive evening at odeon cinema as we launch Phase 2 of Beyond the Fade.
Beyond the Fade is a mental health project for the community, and this event celebrates the work we did in Phase 1 — sitting down with local barbers and their clients to talk openly about mental health. Come see the short documentary that came out of those conversations, then stick around for a Q&A and open discussion as we look ahead to Phase 2, funded by Birmingham City Council.
What to expect:
- An exclusive screening of our short documentary, filmed during Phase 1 with local barbers and clients
- A Q&A and open conversation following the film
- A relaxed, welcoming space to connect with others in the community
- Light refreshments will be provided 🍿🥤
