A calm, 60-minute personal training experience in Birmingham for adults (18+) with special needs, mental health challenges, autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, or learning difficulties.
If mainstream gyms have felt overwhelming, overstimulating, or just "not for you," this inclusive fitness session is designed differently.

WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE
Where: Shenley Academy, Birmingham B29 (enter via Car Park — free parking, step-free disabled access)
Room: Cardio space with treadmill, stationary bike, rowing machine, punch bag, and floor mats. No weights area. This is a gym alternative designed for accessibility and comfort.
Capacity: Strictly limited to 6 participants — this is intentional to keep it calm and deeply personal.
YOUR 60-MINUTE JOURNEY:
→ Arrival and Welcome (10 mins) No rush. A friendly, low-pressure meet-and-greet. You'll get a tour of the space and time to ask questions.
→ Confidence-Building Warm-Up (10 mins) Gentle, joint-friendly movements designed to wake up your body without stress or pressure.
→ Main Movement Experience (30 mins) A tailored mix of bodyweight exercises and light cardio machine use. You choose your pace. No one is watching to judge — only to support.
→ Cool Down and Goal Check-In (10 mins) Gentle stretching plus a short, personal conversation about how the session felt and what progress could look like for you.
OUTCOME: You'll leave feeling understood, capable, and clear on what's next — not exhausted, overwhelmed, or unsure. This is what inclusive personal training in Birmingham should feel like.

WHO'S RUNNING THIS
True Ability Fitness is founded by a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer with:
✓ 5 years' specialist experience as a SEN Support Worker in Birmingham secondary schools (autism, ADHD, social anxiety, learning difficulties)
✓ Mental health awareness training and understanding of how anxiety, trauma, and neurodivergence affect gym experiences
✓ Enhanced DBS checked — fully safeguarding trained for vulnerable adults

IMPORTANT: PRE-SESSION HEALTH FORM
After you book, you'll receive a short health and experience form to complete before the session. This is required for your safety and to help me tailor the session to your needs. The form covers:
• Any health conditions or diagnoses
• Previous fitness experience (or lack of it — that's totally fine)
• Movement limitations, injuries, or things to avoid
• Sensory needs or preferences
• Goals you'd like to work towards Please complete this form at least 24 hours before your session. This allows me to review your needs and make sure the space, equipment, and plan are right for you. It also helps me avoid any risk of injury or discomfort on the night. If you need support completing the form, a carer or support worker can help you fill it in together.
