There’s nothing quite like the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls coming out of the oven. In this hands-on baking class, you'll learn the techniques behind the soft, buttery cinnamon rolls that made Omega Bakery a local favorite, then take that same enriched sweet dough far beyond the classic roll.

You'll mix, knead, roll, shape, proof, and bake bakery-quality sweet rolls while learning how small changes in fillings and toppings create completely different results. Along the way, you'll make classic cinnamon rolls, gooey pecan sticky buns, fruit-filled rolls, and explore creative flavor combinations like maple-bacon, toasted nuts, seasonal fruits, and more.

We'll also cover glazes, cream cheese frosting, make-ahead preparation, freezing, and reheating techniques so you can enjoy fresh-baked sweet rolls whenever the craving strikes. Whether you're baking for family breakfasts, holiday mornings, or simply filling your freezer with homemade treats, you'll leave with the skills and confidence to create your own signature sweet rolls at home.

🍽️ What to Wear:

Please wear long pants and flat, closed-toe shoes for your safety. Long hair should be tied back. You will be standing and cooking for most of the class, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Sandals, flip-flops, and high heels are not permitted in Columbus State kitchens.

💬 Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your class booking, you may do so up to 48 hours before the class to receive a refund or class credit. If The Mix must cancel a class for any reason, you will be notified by phone or email and offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
