Ooh! you’re no longer really a beginner, you can last an entire track of Balboa at a social dance, and you’re ready to move onwards!As a guideline, you already know the basics in pure Balboa, you can comfortably switch between up-hold and down-hold. You know the come-around, side steps, and paddles, and also had a go at out-and-ins, lollies, and various types of throw-out, but would like some revision, along with some new ideas on how to use them all more musically and how to “join the dots” more effectively.
In this workshop we’ll help you to consolidate the basics and to mix up some fun combinations, while brushing up on technique to make things smoother, and opening doors towards the next layer of challenges. Nothing too complicated, no stress, lots of fun, we promise!
There’s a free hour of Balboa tunes between 1 and 2pm for you to practice.
