A Mystical Yom Kippur Experience

Yom Kippur opens with the Kol Nidre ceremony—a deeply moving liturgical tradition of releasing our vows. But what are our vows? And how do we actually release them? The mystics say that the vows we release on Yom Kippur are the commitments we made in childhood to stories that no longer serve us---limiting stories like "I'm not smart" or "I'm not lovable" or "I'll never heal." Kol Nidre gives us a once-a-year opportunity to let these stories go. In this immersive mystical ceremony we’ll draw on the wisdom of Kabbalah, family constellation work, and spiritual theater to explore these transformational possibilities and step through the portal of this holiest of days. Expect live sacred music, deep embodied ritual, liminal guided meditation, and moments of profound encounter.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a traditional Yom Kippur service. It is a high-intensity mystical experience, moving between realms of past, present, future, physical and spiritual. We may explore themes of family violence, personal trauma, and other activating content. If you’re in a place of crisis or seeking the usual order of Yom Kippur events, this may not be for you.

You are invited to wear all white and bring a tallit (prayer shawl) or other shawl or scarf. People who are fasting and people who are not fasting are all welcome. Please bring your own water bottle. (There will be no refreshments.) We invite you to come prepared with an old limiting story that you want to transform. ADMISSION POLICY: Open to adult participants of all backgrounds. No prior knowledge of Yom Kippur, mysticsm, or Judaism is necesary.

Due to the nature of this experience, there will be NO late entry. Please be on time.

This event will be photographed and filmed. By attending, you consent to being recorded and for this media to be used in future promotional materials.

This event will take place in a historic building with an industrial staircase. Entry requires climbing a flight of about 20 stairs, and there is no elevator. Most of the evening will be seated on folding chairs + floor cushions. Throughout the evening, there may be periods of dim lighting, flashing lights, scent, and loud music or soundscapes.
