Between Chapters: A Celebration and Conversation with Zibby Owens
About this Event
Join us as we welcome Zibby Owens back to Athena Books to celebrate the release of her candid and heartfelt new memoir, .
Over the past decade, Zibby has transformed her lifelong love of books into a remarkable new chapter, evolving from an Upper East Side stay-at-home mother of four into a bestselling author, award-winning podcaster, publisher, bookstore owner, television personality, event host, and beloved champion of authors and readers.
In Between Chapters, Zibby opens up about the chances she took, the mistakes she made, and the books and conversations that helped her find her way. With warmth, honesty, and humor, she reflects on friendship, parenting, divorce, loss, love, and the exhilarating and often difficult process of starting over.
Zibby will be joined in conversation by our very own Greer Williams, Athena Books' Events Manager and Author Liaison, and the trusted book recommender behind @cocktailsandcommonreads. We hope you’ll join us for a lively and intimate conversation about reinvention, resilience, and what can happen when you take a chance on a new chapter.
Please note: Doors open at 6:30pm and the event begins at 7pm. Please plan to arrive on time so you can fully enjoy the evening. To help preserve the intimate atmosphere, doors will close at 7:15pm, and we won’t be able to admit guests after that time. Thank you so much for your understanding.
