Bestie Boos Sugar Skull Centerpiece Cookie Class

Gather up your best boos and join us just before Halloween to create the perfect cookie centerpiece to plate up and enjoy on Halloween night or on Dia de los Muertos!

In this class we will ice and decorate a set of 11 amazing cookies in varying sizes:

2 Large Sugar Skulls

7 Candy Corn

1 Flaming House Heart

(Paper Faux Bois Patterned Platter to plate up on once cookies are dry included!)

As in all of our cookie workshops Dani provides a step by step "how to ice" demonstration of each cookie then each participant decorates their own version. Icing decorating candy and all supplies included. Participants take home a box of cookies they decorated. Your candy corn cookies will be arranged on the plate as the lower layer, with the skulls and heart placed at center. (Order our chocolate chip cookie add on to plate these up SDB style!) Dani will demo suggested plate up.

Once your cookies are dry, the next day, follow Dani's demo of how to plate up these beauties to serve!

8 spaces available. Adults only. BYOB welcome. Cookies to ice in this class are intermediate level. This workshop will be held at our cookie studio: 717 Bangs Ave Asbury Park. All cookie supplies included. Registration for this event will close Sunday October 6th. Cookie class will be approx. 2 hours long and could go over.

COOKIE WORKSHOP FAQ:

Ticketholders at Icing Tables Only: Due to room capacity and social distancing constraints we are only able to accommodate cookie icers at our icing table.

Post COVID Policy: Our tables are communal- you will be seated with others. Please be respectful of other people's health. Please keep in mind that excessive coughing can spread germs and can make others feel uncomfortable. Please do not attend class if you have a cough. If you have a cold but are still well enough to attend class please wear a mask.

Timing: The workshop will last for approximately two hours depending on class speed of icing each cookie. If making a dinner reservation after we suggest padding for some time between.

Food & Beverage: BYOB welcome for adults. No outside food allowed. If you'd like a snack please check out our add ons menu and pre-order. There are plenty of walkable restaurants to grab a bite at before class.

Cookie Allergy Disclaimer: Sweet Dani B cookies are preservative free and are baked with the freshest ingredients... butter eggs sugar flour and a few secret ingredients that make them extra yummy. Our recipe does not include nuts but our cookies and icing is made in a kitchen where nuts are present. In the workshop we will be using various candies to decorate our cookies as well as royal icing which is made with sugar and meringue powder.

Photo Release: We take lots of photos in our workshops. Please let us know if you prefer not to be photographed.

Parking: Metered street parking- download the app Asbury Park or we have a meter very close to the shop.

Refunds: Due to limited seating and the individual prep work required for each cookie icer in attendance our cookie workshops are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend you are welcomed to transfer your seat to someone else. In some cases we can pack up your cookies to go for you to DIY at home as an alternate option to transferring your seat (all supplies will need to be returned afterwards). Alternately we can decorate your cookie set for you and schedule a pick up of them for a few days later. If you are unable to attend please let us know which option you prefer. Snow day rescheduling or refunds will be announced as needed.
