These classes for those 12+ are held on the second Saturday of every month as an ongoing introduction to watercolors by veteran Artist and Locals Art Space Member, Maryann Goodwin.
No previous experience is necessary for any of the classes in the series.
Locals Art Space Members enjoy a $10 discount.
Each class will focus on a different technique.
Basic Techniques such as washes, wet-on-dry and color mixing will be demonstrated in this first class and then used to create this landscape painting.
Students are encouraged to bring their own supplies (brushes, paints, watercolor paper or other medium), otherwise the gallery can provide the basics. Only 3 colors are needed: Yellow, Blue and Red.
Participants have their questions answered, gain experience with veteran guidance, learn about the gallery, and meet other local artists.
Payment via Zeffy or in person, but you must call the Gallery if paying in person, otherwise your seat will not be guaranteed. 732-233-3400.
