Beppe Gambetta Live at Drum & Strum

The Gloria Faye Dingus Music Alliance welcomes the return of Italian guitar virtuoso Beppe Gambetta to the Listening Room at Drum & Strum. Born in Genova and now based in the United States, Beppe is known as a guitarist, singer, composer, and researcher with a career spanning over forty years, developing a distinctive flatpicking style influenced early on by Doc Watson. In recent years he has focused more on songwriting, with original work well received by critics and audiences and reaching the top of U.S. independent charts; his current program draws from that material, including selections from Where the Wind Blows and Terra Madre, featuring songs performed in English, Italian, and Genovese that reflect his life, travels, and musical influences. Tickets are $25, with limited seating, so advance purchase or reservations are recommended. Doors open at 7:30 and the concert begins at 8:00pm, with children 12 and under admitted free with a parent or guardian. All proceeds benefit The Gloria Faye Dingus Music Alliance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making the world a better place through music.
