Laurence Juber

Laurence Juber is a solo performer, recording artist, composer and arranger. His playing fuses folk, jazz, blues, pop and classical styles, creating a multi-faceted performance that belies the use of only one instrument. First internationally recognized as lead guitarist in Paul McCartney's Wings, with whom he won a Grammy®, Juber has since established himself as a world-renowned guitar virtuoso and entertainer.
Wendy Waldman
A critically-acclaimed recording artist and multi-platinum songwriter, Wendy Waldman has a diverse career that spans across genres ranging from pop, R&B, and country to film, jazz, and children's music. Waldman, one of the first distinguished female record producers, is the daughter of composer and film music scholar Fred Steiner (Perry Mason, Star Trek, The Twilight Zone) and has co-written numerous hit songs, including "Save the Best for Last" and "The Sweetest Days" (Vanessa Williams); "Fishin in the Dark" (Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Garth Brooks); "I Owe You One" (Aaron Neville); the Wrangler Award-winning cowboy Christmas song, "Corn, Water, and Wood" (Michael Martin Murphy); and "I Want a Horse" (released as a duet between Waldman and Linda Ronstadt). Wendy Waldman's first solo album, Love Has Got Me, was released by Warner Bros. Records in 1973 and proclaimed by Rolling Stone to be the "singer-songwriter debut of the year."
James Lee Stanley

Dan Navarro
An acclaimed singer-songwriter, voice actor, producer, road warrior and arts advocate. Renowned for his passionate performances, soulful voice and emotive songwriting, he is a favorite among folk and Americana fans. As a songwriter, he has written or co-written songs for Pat Benatar (“We Belong”), The Bangles, Dave Edmunds, The Temptations, among others, and as a bilingual singer and voice actor, he sang in Oscar® winners “Encanto,” “Coco,” and “Happy Feet, “just to name a few. From 1990-2008, he was half of the acoustic duo Lowen & Navarro.
“FAR-West is thrilled to bring together such an incredible array of talent for this benefit concert,” said Susie Glaze, producer of the FAR-West benefit. “This event not only showcases the vibrant folk music community in Southern California but also supports our mission to foster and sustain this important cultural heritage.”
Proceeds from the concert will directly support FAR-West’s programs, including educational workshops, community outreach initiatives, and annual music conferences. These programs are vital for nurturing new talent and ensuring the continued growth and success of the folk music community.
