Along the way, participants will be introduced to edible berries, medicinal herbs, aromatic shrubs, useful trees, and overlooked “weeds” that thrive within the unique ecology of the Pine Barrens.The tour focuses not only on identification, but on building a respectful relationship with the land itself.
