The Research and Action on Salt and Obesity Unit are delighted to invite you Beneath Sweetness, a contemporary art exhibition developed in collaboration with artist Lindsay Servian, Action on Salt & Sugar, and QMUL’s Centre for Public Health and Policy.
Through a series of sculptural and artistic works, Beneath Sweetness explores how sugar is embedded in everyday life – culturally, socially and structurally. The exhibition invites visitors to reflect and share views prompted by what they encounter and gain deeper understand sugar as a commercial determinant of health.
Taking place in the award-winning venue, the Neuron Pod, this free event is open to all staff, students, patients and public.
