Ben Folds is an Emmy®-nominated singer-songwriter with a catalog of genre-bending music including pop album “Ben Folds Five,” multiple solo albums, a holiday album, and numerous collaborations. Touring today as a pop artist, Folds also performed for over two decades with some of the world’s greatest symphony orchestras.
An advocate for arts funding, music education, and music therapy, Folds served eight years as the first Artistic Advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO). In 2025, recordings for two of his sold-out performances with the NSO debuted at the top of the Billboard classical and classical crossover charts. Folds continues his philanthropic work as a member of Americans For The Arts and the Arts Action Fund. He also founded “Keys For Kids” — A music education project that helps disadvantaged children in North Carolina, his native state, access the performing arts.
