Meet the Producer
About this Event
Join us for our FREE monthly open house series, happening on the last Saturday of each month from March through October!
Hosted at the Micro Market inside the greenhouse facility in the Highlander neighborhood, this event is your chance to discover how your food is grown and made, ask questions, and build a deeper connection to your local food community.
Each event features a unique local producer who will be there in-person, giving you the opportunity to meet the people behind your food and hear their stories firsthand.
Come sample products, hear a producer's story, and learn about their growing practices. You’ll also be able to explore seasonal items currently available in the Micro Market.This is a relaxed, drop-in style event, stop by anytime!
We’ll also have:
- Harvest of the Month packets
- Recipes
- Coloring sheets for kids
- Educational materials about local food
Each event is from 12:00-2:00 P.M. on the following days:
March 28 – Featuring Peko Farms (Omaha, NE)
April 25 – Featuring Dundee Popcorn (Omaha, NE)
