Come and learn a Belly Dance veil choreography :)A lovely flowing song with some cute veil work and nice hip bumps & circles. One of our favorites!
Beginner and intermediate friendly with videos to practice at home.
Bring yourself a water and wear clothing that doesn't restrict your movements.
Come 5 minutes early to get settled in.
Bring your own veil, I only have a couple to borrow while in class. Any color you like is perfect. You can search online, ebay, amazon, etsy, bellydance.com....google belly dance veils. Read all the descriptions on the size and type of material....you do not have to pay lots of $$ or have silk right now, but that's totally up to you. Its nice to have a practice veil or two for classes.
You can find some lightweight material at fabric stores to cut to size and practice with. Measure your arms straight out, side to side like a "t" fingertip to fingertip then add a foot/foot n half..., so you have some overhang, cut down as needed.,,, then you can cut it down "width-wise" at what feels right to you about 30+ inches,,, depends on what you want and your arm length. If you bring your material with you to class I can show you.
