What would it be like to slow down and practice being with one another—more honestly, more curiously, more human?
This 6-hour experiential workshop is an invitation into the practice of Authentic Relating: learning how to meet ourselves and each other with greater awareness, empathy, and truth.
Together, we’ll explore:
• Curiosity as an antidote to judgment — notice the stories we make up about others (ahem assumptions) and seeing what happens when we attune to the interests of others as a pathway to relating
• Empathy as a quality of listening — a practice of listening to what the other wants you to know about them, rather than how you can respond to share about yourself (ooooh did that sound spicy?)
• Speaking truth with care — gently examining why we hold things back, and how honest expression can actually restore connection and nurture relationships
• Meeting tension with presence — exploring simple ways to stay connected even when things feel uncomfortable
• Relational awareness — noticing what’s happening inside you while you’re relating, in real time
This is not therapy, not group processing, and not a lecture. It’s a facilitated, structured space to practice real connection—with choice, consent, and care at the center.
Led by Sheri Hauser, certified Authentic Relating course leader for ART International, longtime devoted student to these practices, lover of life, and volunteer Board Chair at Victoria Truth Centre.
All are welcome. No prior experience needed.
Participation is always by choice.

Expect moments of depth, lightness, laughter, reflection, and meaningful connection as we practice being human—together.
