The theme for the tour is about the contents of the 1976 TIME CAPSULE. Time capsules are full of everyday items buried for future generations to learn from. If you missed the time capsule opening on July 5th, come see what Mobilians of the past have preserved to tell their stories.
During this informative and fascinating tour, curators will discuss the particular environmental, handling, and housing factors needed to prevent damage and ensure the preservation of the objects they collect, safeguard, and interpret for present and future generations of citizens.
These special 1-hour tours are free for members, $20 for ages 18+, and $15 for ages 8-17. Two time options are available: 10:30am and 5:30pm. Tickets must be purchased online in advance (see link below).
