Beginning Jewelry: A Six-Week Workshop
Advertisement
Curious about making your own jewelry but not sure where to begin? This beginner-friendly class is a hands-on introduction to the tools, techniques, and creative possibilities of jewelry making—no prior experience required. You’ll learn to saw, file, sand, and shape metal, explore cold connections and basic soldering, and even try your hand at simple stone setting. Over eight weeks, you’ll complete two guided projects (with a chance for a third) as you build skills and confidence step by step. Expect a relaxed, supportive environment where experimentation is encouraged, and questions are always welcome. Some materials are included, with additional supplies available for purchase during class.
