Beginner Watercolor: Summer Series 3
About this Event
Have you ever looked at a watercolor painting and wondered how the artist made the sunlight look so blindingly bright, or how the shadows felt so deep and translucent?
The secret isn't in buying brighter paints—it’s in mastering the relationship between light and shadow. Because watercolor is a transparent medium, we don't paint "light" using white paint. Instead, we preserve the white of the paper and build rich, glowing layers around it.
This beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop is designed to demystify value (how light or dark a color is) and teach you how to make your paintings pop off the page.
