Join us for a fun women’s beginner fly tying session with Metro Parks Outdoor Adventure on Saturday, January 17th! Karen Schneck will teach you how to tie The Ice Lady - a flashy, versatile pattern that panfish love (and trout won’t turn down either!). In this class, you’ll learn how to control and blend ice dub to create smooth, eye-catching gradients. Karen will cover two essential dubbing techniques - the noodle method and the dubbing loop method - so you can decide which approach works best for your style. This class is perfect for beginners or tiers looking to add a new pattern to the box!
There are 7 spots available for this class. All materials, a vise and tools will be provided by Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks for this program. If you would like to bring your own vise and tools, please feel free to do so.
This class will be held at Walnut Woods Metro Park in the park office.
