The Tandem Charleston class afterwards is NOT full.
It's that time again! We're doing another round of BEGINNER classes! If you've been waiting for the chance to get into swing dance then this is it! A great way to start off 2025, this could be your New Years resolution!
Starting Monday, Jan 13th, 7:15pm-8:15pm at the Charlotte Street Art Centre we will be doing a 4 week introductory course (each Monday) on beginner swing dancing.
The cost for all four classes is $45 or $15 for each individual class!
You should e-transfer [email protected] in advance if you'd like to purchase the full block. There's no partner or prior dance experience required but do show up a few minutes early to register (7pm)!
What to bring: water bottle, clean and comfortable indoor footwear and maybe a towel (it’s a workout!)
After class stick around for 8:15pm-8:45pm when we have our social dance time! This is a great time to socialize with other dancers (both new and old) and just have some fun!
Afterwards we'll be running an intermediate class for experienced swing dancers looking to learn the Tandem Charleston, a Lindy Hop favourite! You should already have swing dance experience and be familiar with the 6 and 8 count steps as well as the basic Charleston for this class!
