In this 2 hour workshop, your instructor Robin will immerse you into the mysterious world of sourdough bread baking.We will discuss caring for a sourdough starter, kneading, bulk fermentation, proofing, and baking.
You will mix up your own dough for a sandwich loaf that will be ready to bake the next day.
You will go home with detailed instructions for your loaf, an active sourdough starter, and tried and true recipes. You will also become part of The Vintage Flip Sourdough Bread FB community, where you can learn from each other, get tips and tricks once you get home, and have a resource to turn to for help.
Please bring your own large mixing bowl, mixing spoon and a mason jar (for your starter...pint or quart will work best) to class.
