Playground.Step into winter with confidence! This beginner-friendly
snowshoeing program is perfect for adults who want to try a new way to explore the outdoors. Learn the basics of snowshoe use, get tips for walking on different terrains and enjoy a guided walk along the Bass Creek Trail. No experience necessary. Just bring your sense of adventure and enjoy the quiet beauty of winter on snowshoes!
Dress for the weather in layers and wear snow boots. Bring your own snowshoes or some are available to rent for free at the park office.
Program depends on snow depth and will be canceled if there is less than six inches. Program will be canceled if the temperature is below zero.
Meet at the Playground.
All vehicles entering the park need a valid Minnesota State Park vehicle permit which is $7 for the day or $35 for a year.
