Discover the fun of winter on snowshoes! Kids ages seven and older will learn how to use snowshoes and explore the snowy trails through the campground. Let's explore and have lots of outdoor fun! This program is the perfect way for young adventurers to enjoy the magic of winter.Dress for the weather in layers and wear snow boots.
Kid's snowshoes will be available to borrow for program participants. No experience is necessary.
Program depends on snow depth and will be canceled if there is less than six inches. Program will also be canceled if the temperature is below zero.
Meet at the playground.
All vehicles entering the park need a valid Minnesota State Park vehicle permit which is $7 for the day or $35 for a year.
