Would you like to learn bachata, feel more confident dancing and add something joyful to your Monday evening?
Join our friendly eight-week Rueda de Bachata course for beginners. No partner or previous dance experience is needed. We’ll teach you step by step, revisit the foundations each week and give you plenty of guided practice in a relaxed, supportive group.
Rueda de Bachata is a playful and social way to learn bachata. Everyone dances in a circle, follows calls from the teacher and changes partners as the group moves together. This gives you plenty of practice and helps you become comfortable dancing with different people.
Over eight weeks , you’ll:
• Find the bachata rhythm and learn the basic steps
• Practise simple turns and partnerwork
• Improve your timing, connection and movement
• Build confidence dancing with others
• Meet friendly local people and enjoy an energising Monday evening
Runs every Monday from 19 October to 7 December 2026.
Completely new to dancing? You are very welcome. Tried a little bachata, salsa or partner dancing before? You’ll also have plenty to build on.
There is no pressure to get everything right. Mistakes are a normal part of learning, and we’ll progress together with clear explanations, repetition and lots of dancing.
