Beginner Perfumery Workshop

Join us for an immersive Beginner Perfumery Workshop at Sarah Horowitz Parfums on February 21, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This intimate, hands-on class will be led by Sarah Horowitz-Thran, who will guide you through the fundamentals of fragrance creation — from understanding the history of perfume to the art of blending your own signature scent. Whether you're a fragrance lover or a curious beginner, this workshop is designed to inspire and empower you to craft a fragrance that is uniquely yours.

In this full-day experience, you'll receive your own starter perfumery kit containing 15 half-ounce bottles of high-quality fragrance and essential oils — a balanced selection of top, middle, and base notes. The day will begin with an introduction to the science of scent, fragrance structure, and genres, followed by a hands-on exploration of oils and the art of brief writing. You'll have the opportunity to create two custom blends under Sarah’s expert guidance, discovering the magic of bringing your olfactory vision to life. A light lunch will be provided, and students will enjoy a 15% discount on all retail products and blending supplies until 4:00 p.m.

Spaces are limited to just 8 participants, ensuring a personalized experience. The cost is $525, which includes your perfumery kit, lunch, and all materials.
