Fridays, 10:30am – Guildford Lido

This course is designed for complete beginners or anyone returning to swimming who wants to build confidence and learn front crawl properly from the ground up.

Across the 8 weeks we’ll focus on:

• relaxed breathing and body position
• efficient kick and timing
• building confidence in the water
• learning body position fundamentals
• simple, repeatable stroke technique
• short, manageable distances that gradually build your endurance

Each session is structured, supportive, and coached in a small group so you always know what to do and why you’re doing it.

You don’t need everything on day one, but over the course you’ll benefit from:

• Pull buoy
• Kickboard
• Fins
• (Optional later) small technique paddles

You’ll receive a 20% discount code for Zone 3 when you sign up.

The aim is to give you a relaxed, personal learning environment while still progressing each week.

The team has coached swimmers and triathletes from complete beginners through to long-distance and Ironman athletes, with a strong focus on safe, efficient technique and long-term progress.
