Beginner Embroidery: Tarot Edition
About this Event
In this class, you will learn the basic stitches of embroidery and receive a water-soluble template to create a tarot-inspired embroidery piece.
All supplies are included and you will leave with everything you need to keep stitching!
About the teacher:
Melissa Hawkins is a lifelong crafter and self-taught artist who works across many mediums, including drawing, painting, knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, and handmade jewelry. She believes the value of art lies in the act of making, not the final result.
She is constantly exploring new crafts and techniques, regardless of imperfection or how many unfinished projects she has piling up. Most pieces are made with the close supervision of her elderly diabetic orange cat, Honey, who faithfully keeps Melissa company and leaves her fur on every project.
