Beginner Conversational Spanish

Learn basic Spanish at the library! This six week course will introduce you to essential conversation topics. These classes are suitable for those who speak little or no Spanish. Attend all six classes or drop in for those that interest you. Each class runs approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. For ages 12+.
June 16 - Greetings and Introductions: sharing information about yourself such as where you are from or what your job is
June 23 - Family: Describing family member and relationships, the verb "ser"
June 30 - Hobbies, Routines, and Time: using the verbs "gustar" and "querer" to express preferences and desires, identify daily activities, and tell time on the clock as well as calendar
July 7 - Essential Grammar: high frequency verbs (to be, to have, to go) and answering "wh" questions
July 14 - More Essential Grammar: using verbs in the present progressive tense (-ing) and answering "wh" questions
July 21 - Review
