About this Event
Join us for a walk focused on an introduction to birding led by Detroit Bird Alliance Conservation Coordinator, Ava Landgraf. We will discuss all the basics such as how to get started birding, when and where to look for birds, how to use binoculars and ID guides, learning bird behavior and field marks, practicing appreciation with and without species identification, as well as learning some helpful tips and tricks.
The walk will start and end at Circle Forest(3301 Palmer St Detroit) and walk through Callahan Park.
