6:45 - 7:45 pm Belly Dance Technique - Beginner level
Learn a gentle and soft way to move your body in a supportive atmosphere while also learning about the cultures and music of the Middle East.
Everyone is welcome in this beginner class where you will learn the fundamentals like shimmies, strong hip movements, and isolations to upbeat music that will make you forget that you’re breaking a sweat and getting stronger.
You don’t need dance experience to take this class; just an open heart and willingness to learn!

30 min Focus class- Learn a Beginner Raqs Assaya Choreography
This extra 30 minute focus class we will be learning a Raqs Assaya Choreography that is beginner friendly.
This is an Egyptian Folkloric style of dance where dancers will use a "stick" ( Assaya ) in the dance.
We will learn a 3 min routine in these 8 weeks - We will have options to perform - But you don't have too.
I will have some Assaya for you to barrow- or you can bring your own.
This class will include video practice for the dancers to practice at home.
THIS CLASS is only taught IN PERSON.
