Stage Center (SC) proudly announces the first School of Performing Arts (SoPA) production of their 15th Anniversary Season, Beetlejuice JR., opening January 2, 2026, for a one-weekend run at Marjorie Lyons Playhouse on the Centenary College Campus. The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in the frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon, with direction by Jared Watson, choreography by Kaitlyn Brown, and musical direction by Seth Taylor. Beetlejuice was nominated for eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical. A viral “sucks-yes” on social media, this musical struck a chord with young theatre lovers who adored its unabashed humor and emotional honesty.
