Join us at Broome Circle in the Activity Room for two hands-on workshops where you’ll learn how to make your own reusable beeswax food wraps - a natural and sustainable alternative to plastic cling film.This free workshop is facilitated by a Waste Education Officer and proudly supported by the Shire of Broome and WasteSorted Authority WA.
Discover how these eco-friendly wraps can help reduce household waste, cut down on single-use plastics, and keep your food fresher for longer. Beeswax wraps are breathable, helping to prolong the life of fruits, vegetables, bread, cheese, and leftovers while reducing spoilage.

What to bring:
- All equipment and materials are provided.
- Feel free to bring an apron if you wish.
You’re also welcome to bring your own 100% cotton fabric to upcycle (such as old kitchen towels, pillowcases, or other clean cotton materials you’d love to give a new life to).
Afternoon tea is provided.
