Join Beehive Poets for the visit of Ian Parks.Ian Parks is from Mexborough. A poet and academic, his 'Selected Poems 1983-2023' is published by Calder Valley Poetry. His translations of Constantine Cavafy were a Poetry Book Society Choice. He is the editor of 'Versions of the North: Contemporary Yorkshire Poetry' and the 'Selected Poems of Harold Massingham'. His poems appear in Poetry Review, the Times Literary Supplement, Poetry (Chicago), and the Folio Society Book of Love Poems. His latest collection, 'The Sons of Darkness and the Sons of Light', is published by Crooked Spire Press.
Ian will be supported by long-time Beehive Poet, Ed Reiss. Ed, though he no longer lives and works in Bradford, tells us that he "clings on"!
