Fundraising for Burma

Helloo.

Me an interesectional artist is exploring "the displacement" for what it means to me individually as well as collectivetly for some years now. Part of it and to fundraise for the country - I am curating a heartwarming evening filled with films, poems around lived experiences of displacement, music to dance to - and Burmese Vegan Mohinga and Tofu Salad by May a chef from Manchester is introducing to the club.

I am collaborating with to share arts and community spirit and warmth for the day.

For people who dont know , its established in 1981, which is now owned and ran by its members as a collective based upon anarchist principles. Its activities include social and political campaigning, and the building is used as a self-managed social centre; acting as host for a range of arts activities, gigs and sports clubs.

Agenda:

• 12 pm to 4 pm - Bradford International Paste Up Festival
• from 3 pm - the music from @buspassbusker, @echomachineone@die_schone_familie_music @triggerthumbuk and burmese @nodrama_ndma collective.
• films start from 7.30 pm
• followed by spoken words artists including @_oakshine and to lift our spirits @kashkureshi @bobby.jethro @lydiapearce

Please come pop by any time you can. We can tell you that there would be a lot of confrontation about "the displacement", which would makes us cry and inspired, and also shares laughers, music and food as what the community means to us.

Food ready for 6 pm and DJ in the end for a little boogie.
