Beats with Friends season 2 kicks off at Artum; Hockley Social on February 22nd with guest beat sets from Eahwee and Mike Lazy.
Loop digger and wave twister Eahwee has credits with the likes of Coops, Koncept Jack$on, Lee Scott, King Kashmere and more; his unique gritty sample approach is texture heavy and has all the hallmarks the necessary producer tickboxes being checked. Expect SP flavoured madness from the gawd.
Triple threat Mike Lazy has been a staple of the Birmingham DJ and Hiphop scene for a minute and has been producing well over 20 years. Bringing his selecta skills to the beatmaking world he's comfortable in multi-genres and has been steadily dropping solo material since 2020.
Of course we've got our usual open aux/beats. Bring your beats on USB (easiest option) or straight out your device (we'll make it work) and our coveted Bitcoin cookup challenge, where we've have you guys flip a sample during the event and see who can cookup the best heat.
