About the Beat Kitchen:
The Beat Kitchen is a chill, laid-back, and inclusive event that brings people together for a couple of hours of live beats, great food and drinks courtesy of the Station Street Kitchen, and an all-around great atmosphere thanks to the host location, Hopkinson Antique and Art Centre.
Due to the unique location and set up, all Beat Kitchen events will be free to the public as artists will be playing during normal opening hours which sees organic footfall not only from patrons of Station Street Kitchen but also from customers of Hopkinson Vintage, Antique and Art Centre.
The Beat Kitchen takes place every fourth Sunday of the month between 2 pm and 5 pm.

About Hopkinson Vintage, Antique and Art Centre:

How did the Beat Kitchen come to be?
Once upon a time, Hopkinson and lazyboyloops connected via the magical Internet. lazyboyloops had been introduced to Hopkinson before the pandemic, but had only started enjoying our vibes post-pandemic. We noticed lazyboyloops' cool vibes online and then the collaboration started from there.
Here's a bit about our fellow musical wizard...
lazyboyloops, also known as Aaron Richardson, is a musician-turned-producer/beatmaker from the UK with a penchant for colourful hair. Aaron creates chill, upbeat instrumental lofi hip-hop and chillhop with heavy jazz, soul, and funk influences. His eclectic taste in music and his real passion for it reflects in the diversity of his discography.
He began making music in 2002, when he picked up the bass guitar. Since then he’s been a part of many bands and began dabbling in music production in 2008.
lazyboyloops’ journey began in 2019 when he released his first single Nonsense, followed by The Pour Over EP, and the full-length release, Lonely Morning. Since then he’s achieved many milestones, including surpassing 50,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and extensive radio airplay including BBC Introducing and BBC 6 Music.
