Birmingham ElectroAcoustic Sound Theatre presents Mariam Rezaei plus guests. An experimental turntablist, performer, composer, and proponent of 'high-velocity sonic surrealism' (The Guardian), Rezaei will perform a turntable quartet for soloist, drawing on sound-worlds from her recent releases on Heat Crimes and Fractal Meat Cuts. Rezaei will feature alongside other composers associated with BEAST in the University of Birmingham music department.
This concert will be preceded by a workshop from Mariam Rezaei from 4pm-5pm.
