Half-square triangles are one of the most versatile building blocks in quilting, and once you can make them accurately, a huge range of patterns opens up. In Bearfoot Ballet you'll learn two methods in one project: 8-at-a-time for efficiency and 2-at-a-time for precision.
The pattern gives you three ways to make the bear paw block: a two-color yardage version, a modern scrappy version using fat quarters, or a super scrappy version. We'll talk through the options so you can choose a colorway that suits your home and your style.

Prerequisite: Front Street or equivalent experience. You should be comfortable with accurate cutting and a consistent 1/4" seam.
