Beaches Memorial Walk: Families Helping Families Fight OverdoseDate: Sunday August 31st
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: 75 1st Street N. Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250
Join us for the 2nd Annual Beaches Memorial Walk, presented by Project Opioid Jax in partnership with 8103 Clothing & The 904 Pop Up. This powerful community gathering honors lives lost to overdose while promoting awareness, healing, and action.
The morning begins with free donuts from Cinottis Bakery and iced coffee from Cup of JOB. At 9:30 AM, a special speaker session will feature heartfelt stories and actionable insights from local leaders, including the Mayor of Jacksonville Beach, and other inspiring voices who have faced the opioid epidemic firsthand.
Following the panel, Yoga 4 Change will guide a brief stretch before the 1-mile memorial walk begins at 10:15 AM along the scenic Jacksonville Beach Boardwalk. After the walk, guests can participate in a cold plunge recovery session hosted by Cool Culture Jax and relax with light music in a supportive and uplifting atmosphere.
This event blends community, wellness, and remembrance, creating a space where we not only honor those we've lost but work together to build a healthier future.
Let’s walk with purpose. Let’s fight overdose together.
