Welcome to the Beach Cities Symphony Concert! Join us for a night of beautiful music at Redondo Union High School. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the talented musicians as they fill the auditorium with enchanting melodies. This in-person event is a wonderful opportunity to support local artists and immerse yourself in the magic of live music. Don't miss out on this unforgettable evening!

Our opening concert celebrates the power of the overture. One set features concert overtures, the other set opera overtures—each one designed to open the door to something new. The concert will run approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission.

To enhance your concert experience, there is a 15 minute pre-concert lecture that begins at 4:15pm. Our musical director, Arlette Cárdenes, will explore the overtures in depth—why the composers wrote them, what inspired their creation, and the stories behind the music. You’ll also hear audio clips highlighting key themes to listen for during the performance.

Concerts are performed at Redondo Union High School Auditorium, located at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and Diamond Street.

The parking lot entrance is accessed from Vincent Street. Parking is free in the lot or on nearby streets.
