Join us on Saturday, August 16th for a special in-person an Open Day, where you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at a Saturday session with Minds Matter Southern California, a volunteer-powered nonprofit that supports high-achieving high school students from low-income backgrounds on their journey to and through college.

Whether you’re curious about mentoring, want to support youth in education, or just want to learn more, we’ll walk you through our volunteer roles and help you discover where you might thrive.

What You Can Expect:

• A casual, no-pressure conversation
• Step inside a real session: Shadow part of a Saturday program and experience firsthand how our volunteers support students on their college journey.
• Hear real stories from and connect with our community: Get inspired by alumni who’ve returned as volunteers and long-time mentors who’ve seen the impact firsthand.
• Ask anything, no pressure: Bring your questions and curiosities. We’re here to help you explore, not to sell you on anything you’re not ready for.
