FREE Volunteer Skills & Leadership Course
Want to make a real impact in your community while building confidence and practical skills? Join our free workshop series designed to help youth explore volunteerism, connect with their values, and take action in Vancouver and beyond, all in a supportive and engaging environment.
🗓 Schedule: Saturdays, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📅 Dates: May 2, 9, 23, and 30, 2026
What you will learn:
May 2: Values & Taking Action
Discover your core values and explore how they connect to real needs in your community. Learn about different ways to volunteer and start shaping your own action plan.
May 9: Building Your Volunteer Plan
Research local opportunities, learn how to approach organizations, and create a personalized volunteer plan aligned with your skills and interests.
May 23: Learning from Experience
Hear from guest speakers working in the community and gain insights into meaningful volunteer pathways.
May 30: Taking Action & Presentations
Put your ideas into practice with a mini volunteer activity and present your action plan. Celebrate your progress and receive a certificate of completion.
