A journey into the art of hospitality through the most recent architecture created by Parisotto+Formenton Architetti.
A six-stage journey through Northern Italy, from the Ligurian Riviera to the Alta Langa, from the Euganean Hills to the Dolomites, and all the way to Friuli, to discover an architecture that engages with, interprets, and enhances nature. Be My Guest. Contemporary Welcoming is a poetic and visual diary that recounts the work of the studio led by Aldo Parisotto and Massimo Formenton in extraordinary locations across the Italian landscape. Each project, including private residences, hospitality facilities, and holiday architecture, is conceived as an immersive experience in which hospitality becomes art and the landscape takes center stage. The architect's hand does not impose, but accompanies, enhancing the identity of the places through a minimalist design that is respectful and rooted in tradition. With a wealth of photographs, including evocative panoramas and construction details, the book leads the reader to discover spaces that welcome, excite, and invite a conscious enjoyment of time and the environment.

Parisotto + Formenton Architetti
Founded by Aldo Parisotto and Massimo Formenton, the firm has two offices, one in Padua, the otherin Milan, where P + F Box is not just a headquarters, but a place of inspiration and exchange: a creative space that interweaves planning work with the promotion of design culture. For over thirty-five years, their research has developed through multiple types of spaces and scales, from interior architecture to objects, shaping each project with timeless elegance. The vision of luxury guiding them is based on an essential aesthetic, characterized by delicate monochromatism that accentuates the light and the material, and by harmonious contrasts between natural materials and sophisticated surfaces, creating a design that becomes a sensory experience.
This philosophy is reflected in theartisanal care and farsighted approach that characterize each project, from art direction for the Italian brands True Design and Qu, to the collaboration with leading companies like Baleri Italia, Cimento,cc-tapis, Firmamento Milano, Mingardo, Minotti Cucine, Palmalisa Zantedeschi, and Viabizzuno. Their sensitivity is also expressed at sea: the firm designs interiors for sailboats and motorboats, collaborating with major shipbuilders like Sanlorenzo, Cantiere del Pardo, and Mylius. The design ofthe interior for the Polaris 48 yacht for Cantieri di Pisa earned them the 2024 The Plan Award. Retail design is the heart of their activity, with concepts developed for luxury, fashion, and food brands. Their most iconic projects include the one for the Nespresso boutique, an idea conceived in 2009 and expressed with elegance across the world. The architecture of Parisotto + Formenton interweaves history and the modern, conversing with places and their essence. Their most emblematic projects include: the restoration of the historical Palazzo Ricordi in Milan, Villa Pedemontana in Pietra, awarded the 2019 German Design Award, and Eraldo Hub, architecture for fashion immersed in the Venetian landscape. In the hospitality sector the firm distinguishes itself for an approach that combines local identity and contemporary comfort.
Among their most relevant projects are: Casa diLanga, made in collaboration with GaS Studio, and winner of the 2022 MIPIM Award for the “BestHotel & Tourism Resort” category, perfectly embodying their style consisting of elegant contrasts ranging from material authenticity and elegant design. One of the firm’s most recent works, Hotel Capitolo, which opened in the summer of 2024 on the Ligurian coastline, transformed Brutalist architecture into a verdant oasis of serenity and peacefulness.
