This workshop covers the fundamentals of effective networking, including understanding what networking is and why it matters, identifying different types of networks, developing key interpersonal skills such as active listening and curiosity, overcoming common barriers like lack of confidence or imposter syndrome, and practising practical techniques for starting conversations, building relationships, and following up.

This will be led by people-focused leader, Fatema Chowdhury, Entrepreneurship Operations Manager. Fatema was previously the Academic lead for the Entrepreneur in Practice elective module in the School of Science & Technology
