Building Predictable Sales in the Green Industry

A practical, interactive workshop to help you sell and grow with greater confidence .
About this Event

Strong technical knowledge and excellent service do not always lead to a signed contract. Prospects hesitate. Quotes remain unanswered. Projects stall. Price pressure erodes margins.

This four-hour workshop will help green-industry professionals bring greater structure, clarity, and confidence to their sales conversations. Building on the strong response to BCLNA’s earlier introductory session, participants will explore the Sandler approach in greater depth and apply it to real situations faced by landscape, nursery, garden retail, and supplier businesses.

Led by Shams Hirani, President of EleWin Consulting Inc. and Sandler’s Authorized Training Partner for British Columbia, the session focuses on professional, consultative selling—not pressure tactics or rigid scripts.

Turn more conversations into clear decisions

Through facilitated discussion, practical exercises, and realistic sales scenarios, participants will learn how to:

  • Guide client conversations from the initial inquiry to a clear next step
  • Qualify opportunities and focus time on the right prospects
  • Discuss budgets, timelines, expectations, and decision-making more confidently
  • Ask stronger questions that uncover what is really driving the client’s decision
  • Reduce the “I’ll think about it” response after presenting a quote or proposal
  • Protect the value of their work and reduce pressure to discount
  • Build repeatable sales practices that support a more consistent pipeline

The workshop is designed to be highly interactive and grounded in the day-to-day realities of green-industry businesses. Participants will leave with practical language, frameworks, and techniques they can begin using immediately.
