Good Morning Everyone!
This is Danielle Swinney with Colonial Fort Conde and the History Museum of Mobile. Many of you, I met at the Battle of the Village earlier this month. This is just a general email to gage interest / participation in the Battle of Fort Charlotte.
The event will be held on March 14, 2026, and is an all-day event. This year we will be working with the Queen Sofia Spanish Institute and the Spanish government to make this event as accurate as possible. The current plan is to set up camps in the morning, so reenactors can interact with visitors, much like the morning before the Battle of the Village. We do not have a set time for the battle to start, but I will let you all know as soon as I do. We will be providing breakfast and supplies for reenactors to cook their own lunches.
The Fort will be open the day before, so if anyone is interested in coming to store your stuff at the fort, please let me know. We are also happy to get hotel accommodations for reenactors out of town for the Friday before the event.
