Join us to learn more about local bats and what recent studies have shown about these ecologically important mammals. After an informative presentation indoors at the Museum, we will walk 0.5 miles to the Covered Bridge to look for the bats that roost there. Representatives from the Illinois Bat Conservation Program will be on hand with special technology to detect and identify bats by their calls. All participants receive a commemorative sticker.
